PRIVACY,
PLAINLY.

It's YOW collects only the information needed to run the publication, respond to submissions and send updates people request.

Information you provide

When you join the weekend list, we collect your email address and consent. When you submit an event or local tip, we collect the information in that form, including your name, email, links and event details.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious website analytics to understand aggregate traffic, popular pages and site performance. Analytics may process device, browser, approximate location and interaction information. We do not use analytics to sell personal profiles.

How information is used

We use information to deliver requested updates, review submissions, reply to questions, improve the site, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Event details intended for public promotion may be edited and published; contact information is not published unless you explicitly provide it for that purpose.

Sharing and retention

Information may be handled by service providers that support hosting, analytics, email and internal notifications. We retain it only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
